Looking for a shop to paint my cobra in MN. Wondering if anyone has recommendations/experience working with anyone? I am not looking for a show quality paint...my cobra is going to have the snot driven out of it so I just need it looking sharp. I talked to one shop that quoted 35k another 20K. About had a heart attack. Both shops are high end and turn out show level cars.

Ship it out to Cali.... I charge $8,500 incl stripe. All fitting, trimming, body work, paint, finish sand and polish and install the parts that I paint back on your chassis with hinges and hardware.......Jus sayin...da bat aka Miller Customs 951-676-0191 (done a few). Normally I wouldn't chime in because of the ------------------------- distance but to be honest I saw you were getting crickets.

I am going to recommend that you go with a shop that has experience with replica cars. There are a multitude of horror stories about body shops that take years to complete and don't have the experience working with kit cars and their fitment requirements.
I have travelled from Northern Alberta to Arizona and So Cal many times with my cars to get the service and product that puts my mind at ease. Jeff Miller would be an excellent choice. It is not that big of a challenge and it's all part of the experience.
On a side note I also travel to Brainerd 4-5 times a year as I have a lake house there.
