I didn’t like the way my front wheels tucked inside the fenders so I ordered 1” spacers.
It looks much better as the wheel sits almost flush and the increased track helps with front end stability too.

You've added positive scrub radius with the spacers. Here's an article that explains the effects of scrub radius:

Looks great— I've been wanting to do the same to mine. Quick question John: are the front and rear spacers different? I have a set of 1" on my rear, and wondering if I can just order another set of the same for the front.

Lickity is right, my first experience with zero or negative scrub radius was a Saab. My worst experience with positive scrub was braking on uneven or mixed traction road surface. When one side has poor/no traction the high traction side jerks the steering wheel to that side. A FWD with open differential does the same thing on acceleration..

Another concern is the integrity of the wheel spacer. All the side and rotating load goes through the spacer between the tire and the axle/spindle. At least the spacer should be forged or billet material. Cast is not strong enough for performance driving. Long lug studs through the spacer is another solution.

I only have spacers on the front, but they are available in different widths. So you can pick what you need for the rears to make them look the way you want

John, The 80's body is a Dino replica made at the Corsair boat company for Karma. It is hand laid cloth construction. Karma was sued by Ferrari and the tooling sold to a company in Great Britain.
The Karma had VW power and cheap hardware, but the body is nice. I have updated details and I am installing it to an 818 chassis. Just now mounting a Mishimoto crossflow radiator.
The Subie engine will be replaced with an Acura V6 at about 300hp NA.

Cool, I was just looking at a Dino kit from England a few days ago. Pretty cool little car!

John. There is a company in Great Britain that converts a Toyota MR2 series 2 into a Dino replica with front and rear fiberglas clips. Name JHC

I do not know where the body shapes come from, they do not look as aggressive as mine. My body is morphed a bit.
Last I heard they were $60K for a turn key.

John, Interesting car. My take is they make an aesthetic priority not performance. I do not know what the mechanicals are.
My car's styling is emphasized, but so is performance.
The 206 is beautiful.

My buddy bought an incomplete Ferrari P4 replica that came from RCR in MI. (Ford vs Ferrari).
It is running a Chevy 427 LS7 with EFI. It will be formidable. The RCR chassis tub is a ***** to work on.

John - looks good - been thinking about doing the same. Assuming you got a good quality spacer, you should see any negative effects- I would recheck the camber, other than that I have been running spacers on mine for a while without issue... nicely done

That's another dream car of mine! How come the tub is such a problem to work on?

John, RCR offers several cars and in the interest of cost and proliferation of parts, there is commonality between cars. The tub was likely engineered for an earlier car, perhaps the GT40. Tub access covers that are removable on the GT40 are not removable with the P4 body.
Moreover the P4 body is one piece plus doors and engine cover. The tub slides in like a cartridge, and then removal is blocked by the front suspension and the roll bar struts which are welded after the body is installed.
Seeking more authenticity my buddy cut the body into individual parts like the original P4. Now he can access the tub panels, but he has to create body fastening flanges.
FYI the P4 has a steel space frame (as I understand it) The RCR car has a thick aluminum monobox with a steel space frame inside to add structure at key positions like the control arms and coilover mounts. Most of the suspension is also common between the car offerings with CNC (billet) parts. Replica P4 in appearance, not content. RCR has not been easy to work with. I know another fellow with an RCR GT40 and he has had similar experiences.
