-Fuel pump holds 55-60 psi when cranking.
-starts and idles until IAC trims idle down then shuts off
-re-starts, fires a few cylinders then shuts off
-F5 did recal PCM
-Donor car drove fine before disassembly

Anyone else have similar issue?

Please advise....

I remember seeing this discussed a few times. Sounds like a VATS issue with the ECU. It will fire, than shut down.

Others can confirm as I went with a Standalone ECU and didn't have to navigate this issue.

Thank you
I was searching but i kept getting a "no results found" response

That makes sense. I do have the old fobs. May need to try something with them tomorrow.

If you search on this and the other forum under VATS you will find a lot of information. I had the same problem and eventually reprogrammed my pcm myself using HP Tuners module. It appeared that FFR reprogrammed to delete VATS but did not also provide that the column lock (steering) was "not fitted." The steering lock is part of the VATS system and if the pcm still thinks that there is a column lock and cant find it the VATS system will be triggered shutting off the fuel pump. This is the case even though the VATS system is supposedly "disabled."
Hope this makes sense.

Hopefully you get this sorted out.

Post up some pics of your build and give us some details. Would love to see more GTM builders posting.

I built an early GTM using a 2002 donor and your problem is with the antitheft programmed into the computer. Back then FFR reprogrammed the computer to remive this issue only it didn't work with mine. The car would start and run probably 80% of the time, then when you least expected it, back to your issues. I ended up finding a guy on line who solved the issue for no cost as long as I paid the shipping. Sorry I can't remeber his name but he does this work for lots of people and I'm sure you could google and find an address. Good Luck!

Was it "Wait4meperformance" out of Mentone, IN? I know as of last summer they were still doing them. I talked to them but ended up doing it myself.

dlud is correct. 99% chance that this is caused by the steering column lock setting in the ECU. I believe the 3 choices are....enabled...disabled....not fitted. If you disable VATS and then choose "disabled" for the steering column lock, eventually you will end up with exactly what you have.....the car will start and run for about one second then turn off. You will have to get someone to change that steering column lock setting to "not fitted".
