Oil temp sensor

I had a little accident and bent and damaged the sensor going into my oil pan. It still gets resistance checking with a volt meter, and I can still plug in the connector. It’s the Speedhut two wire temp sensor.

Should I use it or replace with the Autometer single wire that I have on hand.

I would not have used the one wire sensor. I would have used the broken Speedhut sensor, ordered a new, and replaced the broken one.
