Karen, Because of that picture you posted, I got out my big block Mk3 yesterday and washed the road dust off (I loaned the car to Jeremy from Solidworks the weekend before and it was put away with 200 miles of road dirt) and took it out in the cold 45 degree Sunday weather. I thought, "I love my day job but... hey wait, this IS my day job!" I love all you do for the community Karen! Cant wait to see you at SEMA!

I agree with loving my...afternoon job, but it seems to always get in the way of more important things. My job has been good to me and has allowed me to do many wonderful things, but I'm done! 433 more days and I retire. Then I can truly start living life and racking up some serious miles on my car.

Hi Karen!
I'm just...just...jealous. Yeah, that's the word I was looking for. Like Jorge, I too am counting the days (OK, years, but they're very few) to retirement.
Nice photo of the vaunted 28 car!!

Thanks so much for all of the kind words on the photo.......Just got back from SEMA, and it was simply awesome to meet so many other enthusiasts and "lovers of life.".....Dreamers, Builders, People of Action that just get out there and live it! We've decided to turn this picture into a poster for the shop as a bit of ongoing motivation to keep building, dreaming and loving life.....I've said it before, but we don't just build cars, we're building a community. Thanks for letting me be a small part of something so wonderful. ;.)
