View Full Version : Acrylic headlight cover quality issue?

I finally got to the point of installing the headlight covers. I removed the plastic film and discovered the supplied headlight covers are pitted or dimpled all over. No scratches but lots of dimples. Should I contact FFR? Best seen in video linked below.

They sent me new ones, which are really great. They are aware of the problem with the older versions and were ready to replace, at no charge.

Yup. Old vendor = junk. New vendor = perfect. Contact Factory Five. Assuming they have them in stock (dicey these days) they will replace them at no charge. Discussed in several build threads including mine. My build rocked the old ones for a while until they got the vendor thing sorted out.
