Guys, I had a pretty good day yesterday in the Cobra till she died at an intersection. After diagnosis I was not getting fuel pressure to EFI. Pump was turning on but no fuel to EFI. No leaks or anything like that. So I removed the In-tank fuel pump and discover the light Plastic line from pump to upper flange was busted. I replaced with some 3/8” Fuel injection rubber hose and got going again.

So would it be a good idea to change this before installing?

Here at a few picks. 149157149158

You are good to go. This used to be relatively common and your repair is what I have always seen done.

Just an fyi - but what is typically sold as "fuel injection hose" is not suitable for use inside the fuel tank submersed in fuel. It will break down and fail although this may vary depending on the ethanol content. They sell a special hose specifically for use inside the tank. You may want to verify that the hose you used is compatible.
