getting hawk pads for my rear calipers
https://www.hawkperformance.com/pads/hb580b-627
does anyone know if the wire springs on the top of the pads come in direct contact with the caliper itself or if there's supposed to be a metal shim for more smooth movement?
when i search for 87-88 tbird caliper shims, it only shows the "C" shaped ones that sit under the pads but nothing that would go into the slot/opening on the top of the caliper where the wire springs sit.
