Been a few years since I took the buffer to my 11 year old Ken Pike paint job, 3M Defender on the front and Laminex Film on the rear fenders have avoided a lot of stone chips

I'll have 10 sets of Bimini top parts completed in a week or so, 8 tops now on the road. If you are interested Email me at DAlbertalli@comcast.net. Tested at sustained speeds of 85 mph, 115 mph for short bursts tested. Very little top noise and NO WIND BUFFETING, makes long drives much more comfortable.

Compatible with Wind Wings, Sun Visors, Windshield groove Rear View Mirror mounts. Can accommodate any rollbar diameter up to 2". double wide single rollbar, or single passenger rollbar.

Materials Used: Frame support are high strength steel that has been machined/welded followed by Metal Prep and epoxy Powder Coating in only Gloss Black. Roll bar clamps are cast Aluminum with Black powder coat and have rubber liner to protect rollbar finish. All CNC plastic parts are Black Delrin, Aluminum adjusters are Gold Anodized. All hardware is Stainless Steel.

Getting in and out: It's much harder....can't step on the seat bottom and slide in..or out. I'm 6'1" / 225#s and 71 years old, and I whine a little bit but leave my top on all the time. (Sun Exposure concerns). I duck under and get my right leg in, then drop in the seat and bend my left leg over the door sill...not too bad....my wife says i should have done more Yoga with her.

Installation Times:

- First time installation, adjustment and assembly: 2.5 hours
- Install thereafter: 30 minutes
- Removal: 15 minutes
- Leave front & rear support rods and remove Sunbrella Top: 5 minutes

Pricing:
Frame Kit Complete - $650 (Includes spares of all hardware and CNC plastic parts you can lose potentially) Single Roll bar passenger RAM suction mount - $75
Sunbrella top in your choice of colors: Single color $300
- Two Color $375
- Three Color $450
Storage Bag - $75 (Plain Black Sunbrella)

Time to get out again and cruise, everything is opening back up finally!!

Looks good. Will you be at Cobra Day on 6/5? Have any pics of it installed with single rollbar?

Hi Mark,

No, got a family conflict, can't attend this year.

I haven't installed on single rollbar car yet. all have been two rollbars.

The frame is pretty stout and maintains it's size and shape without any passenger side support, but it will droop down 4 or 5 inches with no rollbar. So the support only needs to supply vertical force. I'll attach a photo of the first prototype.

I used it on my dual rollbar car for the 85 mph test....no problem. It uses a high quality RAM suction mount intended for external Go Pro Cameras, I modify it to mount marine Bimini top hardware and a section of 3/4" stainless tubing, a tethered quick release pin attaches it to the rear support rod.

I'm in Santa Clara if you want to swing by sometime, usually at the South Bay Cobra breakfast at the "Diner" in Los Gatos at 8am on Saturdays. Where you located, if I'm in your vicinity I'll let you know.

Cheers,
Dave
