Happy Memorial Day all!
Does anyone know the part number for the Mevotech lower ball joint boot supplied with the kit? FFR sent me my back ordered LCA's and one of them had a slice in the boot. I contacted FFR and was told to put a dab of silicone on it and it would be fine. Against my better judgement I followed that advice and as you can probably assume after install I ended up with grease all over my floor because the silicone did not hold. I contacted FFR and was sent a new Mevotech ball joint. I asked for advice on removing and installing the retaining ring without causing damage to the new ball joint boot and was told to use a screw driver. As careful as I was I still put a pin hole in the new boot. Once again, grease all over the floor. I know the ball joints are only like $20 but I'd prefer to not spend the money on another complete ball joint that I do not need just to get the boot. And I can not seem to find the replacement boot anywhere. Any ideas or part numbers for boots that will work?
Thank you.

Here are the energy suspension ones that I used to replace my busted ones. I'll look in my notes which is upper and lower... may be faster to search the forum as here is where I found the spec.

Thank you. I did try searching the forum and there is a lot of talk about the upper ball joint boot but nothing I could find on the lower. I'm assuming the Energy Suspension replacements do not use the retaining clip that the Mevotech units use. I actually emailed Mevotech asking if they sell just the boot and they replied, on Memorial Day, and said they do not. They suggested buying a hole new ball joint. I will probably buy the ball joint because the OCD in me would not be OK with a blue Mevotech boot on one side and a black Energy Suspension on the other. I know, no one but the guys at the alignment shop will see it, but it will still bother me.
Thanks again for the help.
