Hello- I got the center section put in this afternoon. Prior to lifting it in place I confirmed the front pivot sleeves were the correct length per the assembly manual (3 1/16 inch) since they seemed to be slightly longer than the front installed bushings. After all the bolts were torqued to 100 ftlb I noticed that both the front bushings had a slight gap of about 3/32. The rear mount tightened nicely with no gaps at all. I was wondering if this gap is normal or not.
Second question when positioning the upper control arm I noted that the rear grease fitting on one side becomes inaccessible as it is hidden by the frame mounting ears. Seems like they should have tapped these fittings in a different location? Tried exchanging the arms from the right side of car over to the left side and didn't make any difference. I've attached a few pics for reference. Thanks everyone!

The ones I've done didn't have the gap. But the last one was several years ago. Several have posted about a similar gap to what you're showing. Don't know what changed. Word from Factory Five is it's OK. Once you get all the threads started, torque the rear ones first. The ones into the threaded holes in the back cover. Then torque the front bolts. Done.

For the zerks, you need to make sure they all point down. Should be accessible that way. Mine are and greasing them is pretty easy.

Thanks Paul for the reply. I went back this morning and removed the IRS UCA because the issue with the zerk orientation was not making sense. I am wondering if there is a right and left to the UCA based on the orientation of the zerk fittings. The first picture shows the removed UCA looking down on the floor as they would be viewed installed in the frame. The second and third pictures shows the zerk fittings with the right side pointed up and the left side pointed down. The last picture shows how the right rear (zerk is pointed up) UCA attachment makes that zerk fitting inaccessable once it is bolted in the frame. Seems to me that when laying on the ground as in picture one, that all four fittings should be pointed down. I am looking at this incorrectly? Were two of the same side included in this kit?
Thanks

I'm travelling now and for the next few days, so don't have any records or my Coupe to look at. But pretty sure you have two of the same UCA's there instead of a left and right. I can tell you for sure once installed as designed there are no issues reaching the zerks with a grease gun. Which wouldn't be the case with yours pointing up. Looks like a call to Factory Five is in order.

Thanks. I was going to send them an email today with the pictures. Safe travels.
