View Full Version : Side Pipe Hanger
I'm trying to attached my side pipe, but the rubber hanger won't fit. I can still hanger and mount it using the rubber stand off and the bolt to the side pipe. Will that be enough support without using the rubber hanger in the middle?
Thanks

You have to use the rubber doughnut in the center otherwise it's not a hanger, just a pivot.

I will have to look for a rubber doughnut thats narrower or drill a new hole in the bracket a little further back.

Put the rubber donut hole higher up than its native position so the rubber is on a stretch, pulling the bracket and the pipe slightly upwards. You can use the inner end of the bracket to pull it down to meet the rubber stand off, this putting stretch on the donut. 148612

Got it. I’ll give it a try. Thanks.

Here's how I did mine to prevent cracking the pipe at the flange and still support most of the pipe weight.
