Side Pipe Hanger

I know I've read to use only one bolt on the bracket that mounts to the side pipe. I assume use the upper bolt hole?

Anyone have any pictures of the complete installation with one bolt?

I used the bottom hole on the bracket and trimmed the top one off to clean up the installation. Lasted 14 years!

Functionally it doesn’t matter which you use. I ordinarily install the top one because when it’s in the bottom if you/someone looks down and sees the empty hole in the top it appears that it fell out!
