Hello All:

I slid the top on the trans tunnel for the first time and the whole does not match the shifter area. Is that normal? I have a BPE347 with tko-600, FFR driveshaft and 3 link moser rear. The rear was centered by Henry and he had alignment done so I am positive everything is setup properly, so why does shifter hit the top, particularly in reverse? I know I can get a blank one or trim the one I have, I just want to make sure this is normal and not something off with my setup. Have others had the opening too far forward? Thanks

Chris

Chris,

I have no idea as to where the shifter hole should be on your trans tunnel top, but I had a similar issue because I'm running an off-beat combo.
FFMetal had a solution that is a lot better, especially if you want to make the top removable since it is a much thicker piece.

You have a TKO 600, not a T5?

Capt1black:

Have you reset the shifter to the "mid-shift" position? That is what I did and the shifter "stub" winds up better centered in the cutout.
