Hi all, I am running Coyote + stock FFR air intake that comes with the complete kit. I have the intake installed, but it's not very secure and I'm sure it will bounce a lot on the road. It's pretty tight in there, so it'll probably be knocking against F panel or frame. Any thoughts/suggestions on how to secure this so it doesn't bounce?

I have a cone shaped filter that has bolt in the end of the cone. From the bolt there is a flat strap bolted to the car.
This came on a Kenne Bell supercharger kit. If your filter has a flat end cap, you can duplicate this set up. Put a locking jamb nut on the bolt, then the strap and the strap nut.

148539Ditto on the bolt. I had mine fall off twice - you just can’t get the hose clamps tight enough. I put a bolt in the end of the filter and connected a small gauge cable to the F panel. It limits the downward travel of the entire intake, but isn’t rigid so the filter can move some. The cable has a cable stay crimped on the end so it won’t pull through the F-panel. The other end uses a small clip, so it can be removed easily.
