Question about posting on the forum.

Hi all, I am just getting used to using this fourm and thought this was the most appropriate place to post this question. It seems like I have the option to post a "new thread" for every different forum like "roadster" or "want to buy" or this one of course, but I dont see the option to post on the for sale section. Is there another way we are supposed to post parts for sale? There is no button to post a new thread.

Theres a minimum number of posts before you can post something for sale.

You need to have a minimum number of posts to be able to post in the classifieds. You can reach out to admin and see if they will allow you to post there early. Please don't start a ton of threads to get your post count up. It will get you banned.

I like the restriction on new members. Besides helping prevent commercial sellers, it can also prevent scammers joining. IE: putting adds for sale items, and then never shipping them after a buyer had paid.
Members have always been very trusting of each other in this regard. It also gives me, as a buyer, a little more confidence if I can see someone has been contributing to threads, or posting about their build.
