Carpet

I know everybody has an opinion on carpet install, but I’m looking for tips etc. Contact cement or 3M 77 etc. Do’s and donts . This part freaks me out. I’m having some pieces edged with binding but dont want any seems to show. Help!

I liked using outdoor carpet glue. Put it on with a small notch trowel. Gives you time to reposition the carpet to your liking. Unlike contact cement. Once you touch the two pieces together its stuck.
