Stiff Toggle Switches

Posted on my build thread, hoping for a magic fix... Thanks!

So I got my 3 way toggle switches delivered and they are incredibly stiff and require a lot of force to engage. I am worried that when installed they will put stress on the dash and bend it. Any way to loosen the switches up?

The aluminum panel used for the dash will take a significant force from a toggle switch to deform the panel. I doubt that will happen. If it takes two hands to work the toggle then I might be mistaken. I think the question to ask is if the switch has more force than you want to activate the feature it controls, or... will it break the toggle lever (if it's plastic). Perhaps a picture of the switch would help get more response information.
