Yes, Russ does make them. You're correct - they're not on the website but if you call him or e-mail you can order from him. It was $110 + $28 for shipping when I ordered mine several months ago.

Here's a link to a post (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?31167-Greek-Guys-Garage-Roadster-Build-9509-(Prep-for-Lizard-Skin)&p=410351&viewfull=1#post410351) in my build thread that shows it installed. If you do a search on the forum, lots of folks have put them in and have more detailed write-ups about the install process. It's pretty straightforward. You just need to make sure you have it positioned properly before cutting the big hole in your trunk floor.

You could always just build your own. One of my best mods. No cover on mine and it's just fine that way.
You can see that I am using the ffmetal battery box and I also used a variation of the Kleiner body/bumper mount.

+1 on the Russ kit. He responds very quickly to email and got ours shipped out really quick. Here is our installation.

Lots of measuring and double and triple checking but it’s not too bad to put together and the pieces fit really well.

I started with the Russ Thompson kit and then decided to make my own. Its a nice product, nothing against it. I would recommend it and Russ himself.
Attached are a few pictures of both his kit and then what I ended up making.
