I am finishing up the purchase of a MKII roadster built in the 04 time frame in Arizona. I am hoping that someone here either recognizes or is the original builder. Would love to just hear about the history of the car and learn some of its story. Any help from anyone along the way is appreciated. 🙃

If you remove the left rear wheel and look inside the crossmember which is at about the 10 o’clock position in the wheel well you will find a frame number in weld bead. This number may help you track down prior owners.
