Are the axles supplied with the 2018 IRS option, for the Coupe, the stock Mustang axles or are they custom made? If stock, are they the 34 spline axles? I have the answer to this. The stock Mustang GT axles are 34 spline inner and 32 spline outer.

Anyone have the Wilwood part number for the front 12.88" and rear discs? I have a set of them in my garage and if they are the same, I will not need them from Factory Five. Answered.

Is the steering wheel a standard Grant wheel? I am asking as I have a brand new Grant wheel in my possession and would like to use it, if it will fit. If not, then I will put it in the "left-over parts" pile. Answered.

As I understand it, there is no traditional turn signal lever, but there is a gentleman who has been providing modified VW turn signal switches to fit the column. I have not been able to find his contact information. Anyone know how to get a hold of him? I would appreciate the information. Information located. Thank you EdwardB!

On steering column, has anyone tried to use an aftermarket column?

On the EFI kit,..is there room for a surge tank near the fuel tank, or does the EFI kit come with a surge tank? Answered.

I really would like to pull the trigger on my Coupe order, but the above questions are nagging at me. Certainly would appreciate any thoughts at all. Thank you.

The IRS axles are shorter that the Ford ones but as you noted the same ends. The steering wheel bolt pattern is different but the hub can be drilled and tapped to fit other steering wheels.
I use FiTech EFI with the kit tank and no surge tank - no issues, basically Ford design tank and in-tank pump but higher flow.

Thank you for the information. Is the steering wheel bolt pattern proprietary? Not sure it matters, at this point, just curious.

So, no surge tank. I am going to be using the Holley Sniper kit. Does the Ford tank have baffles in it?

Looks like two questions still not answered.

The Wilwood upgrade IRS brakes Factory Five offers have the following rotors:

Front:
(1) 160-13359-BK SRP Drilled Performance Rotor, LH, 12.88 in dia x 1 in width
(1) 160-13358-BK SRP Drilled Performance Rotor, RH, 12.88 in dia x 1 in width
(2) 170-12050 Rotor Mounting Hats

Rear:
(1) 160-9962-BK Rotor 1288-081BK825-000CNNXXXXL, 12x8.75, 48 CVANE, SRP, Black
(1) 160-9961-BK Rotor 1288-081BK825-000CNNXXXXR, 12x8.75, 48 CVANE, SRP, Black
(2) 170-13927 Hat, Big Brake, 5x4.50, 1.200 Offset, 12x8.75 BC, Rear, 2015 Mustang/SH

The steering column fit is very tight and very specific to the chassis design. Anything is possible. But not sure why you would want to change it. I haven't see anyone put an aftermarket column in the Gen 3 Coupe. And just to confirm, IDK if the steering wheel pattern is proprietary, but it doesn't fit most/all aftermarket wheels. Including I'm sure your Grant wheel. But some do drill and tap as already mentioned. Including for a quick disconnect wheel that really helps getting in and out of the Coupe.

Thank you edwardb. Appreciate the response.

Looks like I have the front brakes covered. I'll just have to get the rears.

With a good aftermarket column, I get the turn signal, tilt wheel, and cruise control already in place. It may be something I explore after getting the kit here. Ididit, recently, released a short column (Ididit 12" column (https://www.ididitinc.com/i-25047829-12-shorty-tilt-floor-shift-steering-column-black-powder-coated.html?ref=category:1310138)) which may or may not work.

I understand how a quick disconnect would help with egress and exit. While that is a solution to a problem, I probably will entertain other methods to alleviate the issue. They may not pan out, but I do love a good challenge. Right, wrong, or indifferent, I do enjoy exploring solutions to problems, real or perceived.
