Post pics if you have them but what was your experience if you bought this set up?

$1224 plus tax, mounted balanced and shipped.

Thoughts?

Haven't bought them, but looking at that setup myself. I've always liked the black bullitt wheels. They are for our era of mustang so they should fit just fine, will be interesting to see how others respond, as well as which rear end option they have installed them with.

I'm running the M/T Street Comps on FFR Halibrands and like them. I think the 245's are a better front tire option. (275s can rub)

Those are the correct wheel specs. I had those tires on the rear of my MkII. They are not an ultra sticky tires, just a good all around tire w/ no bad characteristics. I plan to put them on the front when I need fronts. So yeah, I think that is a good combination.

275/40-17 on the front of a Mk4 can be a tight fit that is dependent on which spindles are used (FFR, Fox or 1994-1995 SN95 preferred; '96 and up move the tire & wheel outward), alignment specs (you'll need lots of positive caster which means power steering along with .5 degree or more negative caster), having the body in the correct position and properly trimming the excess wheelwell lip. You'll get a little F panel rub or "kiss" at/near full lock but that occurs even with 245s and isn't something that you'll encounter in normal everyday driving---unless your normal driving involves making a lot of 3 point turns in narrow alleys!

Awesome and thanks. Looking forward to seeing how they fit and drive.

I bought the FR500's from LMR. I changed out the MT tires for Nitto. So far so good the only issue was the 10.5's in the rear were narrower than the FFR wheels so the single piston Wilwood calipers didn't fit. You may have the same issue if you go with those brakes. FYI

I have a moser rear end with the cobra brakes, it's my understanding they will fit. But I did read somewhere if I upgrade to Willwood that it might be a problem.

Thanks.

I bought through LMR with Nitto tires. Fast, easy transaction. I've got the 93 rear w/4 lug, so I can't comment on those wheels specifically. But I'd do business with LMR again in a heartbeat.

This looks to be the ones I bought: https://lmr.com/item/WTK-1007DBA/1987-93-Mustang-Anthracite-Anniversary-Wheel-Tire-Nitto-Tire

I believe that is what I put on my recently finished MK3 in gunmetal gray. Same 9" and 10.5" wheels but with Mickey Thompson 245/45/17 and 275/40/17 tires. Bigger than 245 rubs on front and 275 was as wide as I could go with IRS and an anti-sway bar on rear. I like the period look and the tires perform great once you lower pressure to about 24 psi. You cannot go wrong at that price.
