Hi all, I am excited to report that I got the engine installed this weekend (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?37813-richtersand-s-build-9909-Engine-In!!&p=456216&viewfull=1#post456216)! Big milestone for the build.
After we dropped the engine I discovered an issue on the adapter plate for the rear differential. I have the 3.73 out of a 2019 Mustang GT. As you can see in the image below, it’s not quite lining up. It’s about 1/8” short on the diameter. I tried all six holes to see if it is keyed and no go. Very strange. See pic below. I have read on other threads that I probably have the wrong plate for my diff so I emailed FFR. I thought I would throw it out here also for any thoughts / suggestions. Thanks in advance!
