Got all the gauges working except the temp. - the sender has ground - can't figure it out. Just noticed that it is in degrees C - 60 to 140. I have the vintage FFR gauges. Are they all in degrees C or did I get the wrong one? Any help appreciated!
Thanks, Fred

Hi Fred,

That's odd, if the gauge has power & ground and if the block is grounded properly. You have the gauge power and the backlight / needle illumination power separated, right? If all of that is correct, I guess a test of the sending unit in some hot water might be useful. Just remember you'd have to ground out the body of the sender. If that doesn't produce a result, check the resistance between the terminal and the body of the sender & let me know what it is (I can check one here to make sure the sender isn't the problem). If you don't find anything at that point, I think it would be time to look into swapping the gauge.

Regarding the readout, it should be in degrees C. They're done that way for authenticity.

Hope that helps!
