I'm running the Russ Thompson turn signal on the Ron Francis wiring, an the FFR 6 prong hazard switch.
I thought it was pretty straight forward and I had it all right.

The diagram (done in paint quickly, super pretty, I know) shows my wiring that I think it pertinent. If there's something I'm missing, please let me know.

The problem is when I tested the wiring with my battery is the turn signal indicators are always on as soon as you turn the key. And there is no change or effect from the Russ Thompson turn signal stalk, or the hazard switch.

Is that normal? I don't have the actual headlights hooked up yet, I was just checking dash lights after making a trunk battery box.
Thankyou for any input!147875

Easy part first. (1) These circuits have nothing to do with your headlights. (2) The lights won't flash unless you have the actual front and rear turn signal lights installed. And if you're using LED's, you have to use solid state flashers in the RF panel. Not the traditional thermal style ones. Newer kits are coming with the solid state flashers. Don't know about yours.

Having said that, sounds like a wiring issue. I don't know the RT turn signal wire colors. But easy to check with a meter. There is one common wire which is where your grey RF power wire should be attached. Then the left and right wires. You should be able to confirm with a meter. One lead clipped onto the common wire. With the lever in the middle (off) should be no continuity to either left or right wires. With the lever one direction, should be continuity to one of the left or right. With the lever the other direction, continuity to the other wire. First thing I'd do is check to make sure you're attached to the right wires. Note you need to remove all the other wires to do the continuity check on the switch. Just to confirm -- the RT turn signal switch is just another version of the switch provided in the kit. It works exactly the same as the wiring diagram in the RF wiring manual.
