Windshield flop

I'm about to order windshield #3. 1st broke because of the typical screw issue. 2nd due to rock chip.
This is a Mk 1. Is there something I can do about the windshield shaking so much when I hit a patch of rough interstate? I know the originals had 2 supports going from the transmission tunnel up to the dash. I don't know if it was for this issue or not. I am assuming it is due to frame flex because the windshield mount seems pretty firm.

Buy lexan windshield, no more cracked windshields. Glass windshields are junk.

There is a inside mirror mounting rod kit available, that may help support the center of the windshield frame better. I think Breeze or ********** sells them.
Is your frame solidly mounted to the side posts? I don't notice any undue shaking or vibration on my car.

Originals also had an added support at the base of the windshield, inside and center.
