65 Coupe Aspirations

Greetings all. Having only recently learned about FFR and devouring numerous related YouTube videos and becoming a Dave Smith fan, I just joined this forum. I am planning to attend the Build School and the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh this July. In the meantime I would like to actually see a Coupe (being built and/or completed) and hear about the decision and component selection process/experience. I live just north of Chicago near Lake Michigan and can be available to visit any kind soul who can recall this stage of their enthusiasm and may be willing take pity on this lost soul. :-D Many thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

If you attend the build school, I live about 30 minutes south of there. You're welcome to stop over. Many have over the years. I have a Gen 3 Coupe that's in its second driving season. Build thread linked in my sig line below. We love it. Another option is you're only a few hours away from the London Cobra Show. It's coming up next month. I'll be there along with several other Coupes. Factory Five will be there but not sure what cars they'll bring, if any.
