I am using a grease hand pump and when trying to grease one of the drivers upper control arm it doesn't go so well. I'll pump the handle two or three times and just pressures up and unable to push grease through.

Any ideas

I noticed the same thing. A friend did the build school and they recommended to him to use a hack saw and crosscut the bushing. Not exactly sure what that means. I was greasing one of my lower control arms and it started to push the bushing out.

Sometimes the grease fittings seize up. You can TAP the end of the fitting with a plastic hammer and see if it works. If not... replace the fitting.

Sten nailed it. However, if after replacing the zerk fitting it still will not take grease STOP driving the car. Take the upper control arm completely apart and inspect the bushing. It would not be the first time a bushing has seized. If it is seized, or scored, you're going to have to order a new control arm or replacement parts.

I loosened the nut for the upper control arm and tried it again, went great.....shrug

They mean to cut channels in the ends of the bushings so that grease can get where it needs to go. A hacksaw is easier to control than a dremel. ;)
