OK what the hell am I missing!!! I have installed the hood hinge now when I try to put the front shroud on it hits the bracket that is bolted to the rad. I must be missing some small detail.

I am looking at the pics I just posted. Don’t tell me all I have to do is move the brackets to the opposite side

Looks like mine. After fighting your same issue, I removed the cowl, then did the adjustments (put a spacer on the radiator bracket to simulate cowl position) loosen everything - easy to get to now. had to go to the end of the adj. on the hood end of the arm to gain clearance when opening
