I put my Wilwood brake kit on over the weekend and wish I would have bought them when I ordered the car and saved myself $600 for the rear brakes. The very first time I hit the brakes was better then the 200 miles of trying to get the stock brakes bedded in. I drove my car 10 miles in go kart over the weekend working on the Holley Sniper and also bedding in the Wilwoods. I can finally lock up the brakes if I want to which was not possible with the Mustang/TBird brakes. Money well spent but live and learn moment as well.

I am responding to this late but the difference between the big brake kit and un boosted standard brakes is dramatic. For me it was either a big brake kit or some sort of booster. Once I added all the costs together the difference in cost was negligible. Plus I think the big red calipers are sexy.

I just bled my Wilwoods this weekend for the first time and immediately realized I've never felt what a true firm pedal was like before. Wow, they are not messing around. I am a ways away from actually getting to put them to use but am extremely excited. Glad to hear you are having a good experience with them as well.

Yep...Night and day. Other than the speedbump I had of the Wilwood braking torque ripping the left UCA mount off the chassis... :-) All fixed and I LOVE the Wilwoods.
