I know we had a discussion on here a while ago about the GRP tail lights. I ordered a set in December and they just showed up this week. Anyway, I contacted them and they said the outer diameter of the lens was 4.75". That is not correct. The actual outside diameter of the lens is about 5.58" (EDIT!!..this was a typo...actual OD is 4.58"...NOT 5.58"!!). Whoever I was talking about this with here.....if you have already cut the holes in your body to 4.75 (like I did on the car we're working on here because we had to get the holes opened up before we sent the body out to paint (before we had the tail lights here to measure), I have a very nice solution I will share with you if you need it. I think these are going to look really nice once installed.....might be my favorites so far.
Also, I had the dimensions for my mounting brackets a bit off as those dimensions for the bolt pattern on the back was not correct either and have updated my parts so they are correct.

Doh!!....my bad....sorry about the typo!!.....the GRP tail lights are 4.58" diameter....NOT 5.58!! GRP told me the OD was 4.75"...but actual OD is 4.58".....so these tail lights should be very close to fitting the stock openings in the body without any modifications since the Hella/FFR provided tail light housings are about 4.54" OD.

Shane-
That's a great look; nice find! I like to see unique finishing ideas, and I bet they will look nice when lighted.
Thanks for sharing!

Yeah....been using the hub stands for several years now. Best solution I've found so far. Easily adjustable for height and unless you're working on the suspension, they're out of the way from everything and no worries of having jack stands fall over or slide off. The advantages of having your own CNC plasma cutter.
