Was curious what you folks thought of the two inserts and which you prefer. I am 50/50 at this point. First is the FFR insert. I love how it creates a finished contrast of the steering wheel in relation to the Carbon fiber and chrome. Second is the ********** Cobra Insert which is super classic and exudes coolness. What say you? Thanks in advance!

Well, since it isn’t a Cobra but is a Factory Five... ;)
Just one of my pet peeves.

I’m with Jeff. Go with the FFR
Factory Five - looks better with the dash.

Yea I was really surprised and impressed when I popped in the FFR. It just really pops in the whole picture of the dash. I had ordered the Black Cobra insert thinking I was going to get a a FFR emblem that had the Red and Blue in it which I did not want when I had envisioned my interior. I guess FFR was thinking the same when they sent these emblems on my POL. Only emblem/ insert I could find that was black and chrome at that point was the ********** insert. It was the color pallate for me more than trying to emulate an original cobra. I wanted the Black and chrome.

I think these cars are "wanna be" enough. I use the Factory Five center on mine. It is what it is and that's what it is.
RJD is right. It looks better with your carbon fiber dash. A quality look, thats nicely done.
And after all, FFR cars are in many ways better than original Cobras anyway.
Another vote for the very nice looking Factory Five piece.

My wife just chimed in too. She is a self trained interior decorator ( Actually she is an Internal Medicine physician and the head of our sport horse importation and breeding business) and she has said unequivocally that the FFR insert is a must from an ascetic perspective and " what are you building again ??????" perspective LOL! The boss has spoken.

After seeing this thread and the steering wheel insert I dug mine out of the few remaining boxes and really like it.
I like it over the cobra insert and will be using it. FFR did a great job on them!

I'm between the black and chrome FFR insert and the colored one. My overall color scheme is going to be dark blue with tan interior but all gauges are black with chrome bezel
