We have not tried running a tire that wide on the front of the Coupe. It will probably rub the inner fenders at full lock and it will also most likely have too much grip in the front causing oversteer. We normally reccomend that a 275/35/R17 is the biggest you should run on the Coupe.

The 335/35/R17 should work fine on the rear as long as you ar using a Fox Body width rear end and your wheels have the correct back spacing.

First thanks for the reply. I have a 94 mustang rearend that I'll be putting in the coupe. Does that change the tires that you would recommend. I would like to put the widest/17" tires in the rear and the front as possible. I will not be racing but would liked to use matched tires on the car as it will be used for crusing.

We run 275/40 x 17 Kumhos (V710) on the front and 315/35 x 17 Kumhos on the rear.....I was actually thinking of running 295's all the way around on our new Coupe......We're running a lower hp car, so this set-up may not even remotely work for you.... I do, however, believe the 315 is actually oversized in terms of optimum performance for anything under 350 hp.....The bigger tires look good, but I think we'd get the same overall (or even better) performance with a smaller rear tire......Just my $0.02. I know this is the tech section, but wanted to add wheel selection can be an issue with the 335 as well, you really want at least a 12 inch wheel. I had considered doing it on my roadster after we flared the fenders, but decided against it due to the wheel limitations.
