I'm using the hydro boost, brake switch, and pedal box from a 1996 cobra mustang.

When I connect it all together the switch won't close the circuit until the pedal is all of the way in. Did anyone have this issue and find a fix? Thank you!

Do you have this bushing installed?

And sometimes it's just a matter of replacing the brake light switch. They do wear out.

Those are original old style ford switches and are not the best. Try turning the pedal rod upside down, the squared off part is what activates the switch.

There are two different switches that I'm aware of, one for manual brakes and one for power. You might have the manual brake switch which requires more pedal pressure to activate.

Sorry for the late reply. Busy times at work and home.

The switch is the same one form the original setup that I'm using, so I would be surprised to discover it doesn't work for this now. :)

However, it might be worn out, I don't have those bushings though. I will grab those and see if it makes a difference. Thank you for the input!
