Schroth Profi II 4 FE ASM belts

After following Paul's Daytona build thread, I liked the belts that he decided on (4 point that has anti submarine).

They are made by Schroth Racing (https://www.schrothracing.com/) with model being Schroth Profi II 4 FE ASM (https://www.schrothracing.com/item/profi-ii-asm-fe/competition-harnesses).

Now they are not cheap ...480.00 to 495.00 per side is what I was finding. So I called them this morning 800-884-BELT (2358) to ask about lead time and the possibility of having a coupon. They asked what I was using them for ( I replied with Factory Five Daytona for street cruising) and they informed me that they have some sets that are nearing expiration that can be sold for less. I ended up purchasing a set that will expire at the end of 2023 for less than the price of a single side.

Figured I would let you all know that may be looking for a 4 pt harness.

I've gone with the Schroth Ralleye Cross V2 4-point harness. $379 a pair (2 seats) back a year or so ago. To me they're much easier to get into and out of for a street car, especially for passengers unfamiliar with traditional 5-point harnesses.

We're really happy with the Schroth ASM belts now in real world use. The center pushbutton latch is great. I did find prices were all over the place. Mine were $670 for the pair from Winding Road Racing. By far the best price I found. That was 08/18. So maybe they've gone up that much since. Glad you could find some that were a better deal. For non-competitive use, the expiration thing really isn't an issue.
