This may not fit under a Cobra. I have the Quickjack 5000 and it just barely fits underneath. Check the collapsed height of the lift and remember that you will need to use the rubber lift blocks that will add some height (even the lowest ones).

How do you like your quickjack? I have been thinking about getting one only thing stopping me is how narrow of a space it will leave with the two main frame rails so close together. So looks like trans work is still done via jack stands unless I crawl from the front and think skinny thoughts.

I love them. If I had a taller ceiling, I would have a lift. But I don't, so these are the best I could do. They do crowd the middle of the car. For serious tranny work, the car would have to be on jack stands. However, that being said, lifting the car on the Quickjacks and putting it on jack stands is way easier than using a floor jack in my instance. Before the Quickjacks, this was my procedure: 1. drive front of car up on oil change ramps since my floor jack would not fit under the front bumper. 2. insert floor jack from the side to the pumpkin because the jack won't fit under the gas tank. Lift rear of car with very small pumps of the jack handle. 1", then 1.5", then 2", after about 10 pumps, I can lift the handle all the way! 3. put rear of car on jack stands. 4. move floor jack to front. 5. lift front of car from oil change ramps to proper height and put on jack stands. Lowering of car was the opposite procedure.
I store the Quickjacks under my car. I push them together and remove the rubber lifting blocks. When I need to lift the car, I pull out the Quickjacks on each side, install rubber blocks, position the Quickjacks in the proper places, lift car a little with tires still on the ground, double check placement of Quickjacks and make any necessary adjustments, lift all the way.
For oil changes, tranny fluid changes, and wiping stuff down, I can crawl my 6'6" fat butt in to the proper place to get work done with the Quickjacks in place.
I can have the car up in the air in about 5 minutes and it is rock steady. With a floor jack and stands, it was a major undertaking.

What TMartin said!! I love mine. I have the 3500 lb ones as I only use them for the Roadster. I too have a lower garage ceiling so unable to have a lift and for the price the Quick Jacks are awesome. I had to pull the oil pan recently and as said above it's quick and easy to run the car up in the air, position the jack stands and then rest the car on them. Pull out the Quick Jacks and full under car access. I too store mine under the car. When I need them a quick adjustment out to align under the main 4" tubes and up she goes.
Before I got them i dreaded putting the car up. It was such a hassle. Now it literally takes 3 minutes and the car is 18" in the air.

I can confirm that the 7000 lb version (linked above) does not fit under the roadster, at least not mine with front frame tubes approximately 3.75" off the ground. To get them under the car I have to drive the front wheels onto a couple of 1/2" plywood sheets and also replace the supplied rubber pads with some hardwood blocks cut down to ~1/4" above the sides of the Quickjack frame. The 7000s are also a fair amount heavier than the 5000s. If I had to buy them again I'd go with the 5000.

Yes, go with the 5000. I've used mine now for 2 years. They are great. The hardest part is getting them to stay aligned to the tubes. Someone else posted a method to spread them out if you need access through the center of the car. It used a few pieces of wood to straddle the lift and the 4" tubes of the car. Since it increases the necessary ride height you have to put the tires on top of 2x10s, but there are many ways to accomplish that.

I love helping people spend money
You will like the kit. Check for sales. I ordered mine through Home Depot as they were having a $200 off sale at the time. The only extra you will need is a few quarts of ATF. I used ATF +4 only because that is what I had in my garage at the time. The instructions will let you know what types will work.
