The folks at Challenger installed my lift today in the new garage. Just wanted to give some positive vibes and a shout out to those guys. The whole process was super easy and they came and installed it on a Sunday morning as that was the only day I had open. We discussed the use for the lift and they went to measuring the ride height of my Roadster to make sure it will clear the feet. It took them about 2.5 hours to have it installed and tested. After the install they had me go to " Lift School" before they left to give me the ins and outs of the lift. My space does not have power yet so they brought their own generator to test it and walk me through everything. I ended up going with the CL10V3 10,000lb lift with the extension for added height since I have ample head room in my garage. If you are in the market for a lift I would definitely check them out. Can't wait to use it soon!!!!

That's One Very Nice Work Space So Watch Your Pinkies When You Are Swinging Wrenches!
I'm coming to hang out at your garage to do anything that is wrench-related!
If you come down to the swamp we can swing wrenches there too.

Thanks guys!!! I am super stoked. For years I have crawled under my equipment to work on it and when we started building a pool and pool house with 2nd garage it was easy to justify putting a lift in it. My wife who is into clean and modern is already worried I am going to put up a bunch of wall art and " Clutter up the space". I am LMAO over that statement. I Cant wait to put all types of crap on the walls LOL!

Jon, Good call on the lift especially with 10,000lb capacity. You will be happy you did when you buy an oversized diesel truck like me and decide to do your own maintenance on it because the millennials at zippy lube or the dealership tick you off every time they make a ridiculous recommendation !

Right on Mark!!! I have a horse farm ( side business that is mainly my wife's business) and my horse hauling truck is too heavy for this lift ( F350 super duty dually ) but I could not justify the price to bump up to the industrial commercial grade lift. The dealerships give me gas so I will be using it for everything but my dually.

That is an awesome lift. The company I used to work for had them as a vendor and I had sold quite a few of them, the last one was a 40K drive on for tractor trailers.

Nice lift congrats!
You said you measured the ride height. Are you going to be able to get the arms under the side pipes with the car sitting on the ground?
On mine I have to get the wheels up on would blocks to get the arms under. Sure would be nice not to have to do that.

Well crap.... I did not think about the side pipes. I have not installed those. Not sure if it will clear now. I will let you know when I try it out.

Some well-placed 2X10's or 2X12's will solve that issue so don't fret.
Just make some pads to put the car on and you'll be Golden!

Thanks ggunter! My wife decided on building a pool and pool house with a second garage, so......... I had to leverage it to my advantage. The good or bad news is I will have most of my build done by the time it is done LOL!

Side pipes are the problem with almost all lifts. I cut a 2 ft piece of 2x10 and beveled the end to 45 degrees and put skate board tape on the bottom so it wouldn't slip and use it under the front wheels to get that little bit of extra height to get the arms under and passed the pipes. It works good but it still sucks to have to get out and position the boards get back in pull forward another foot and a half. Get out positionn the arms....blah blah blah you know what I mean.

My garage is 30x50 and has 20 years of crap in it and I have to pull something out to get something in. When I first built it and it was empty in looked cavernous and I said I'll never fill this up....They are never big enough. Should have made it 40x60.
