Mike McCluskey is somewhat of a Southern California Cobra legend. He rebuilds Cobras of all makes and models. He usually has 2-3 originals in his shop and a half dozen aluminum bodied cars in for restoration or repair and about a two year waiting list. He is a friend of a friend and when Mike has too many cars in his shop, he parks the overflow in my friend's hanger. He parked this Daytona coupe in the hanger the other day. This is one of 20 that he built as a continuation series in partnership with Carroll Shelby back in the 70's I believe. I don't know the history of continuation nameplates and didn't ask. This customer own this Coupe and 2 original Cobras and just wanted Mike to look them over. I created a photo Album titled "Mike McClusky - Daytona Coupe" if you want to see all of the photos.
