For those of you who have been waiting for a power steering rack from FFR, I just got an email from fedex for my rack so looks like the boat has arrived :) . Just in time. I finished setting my ride height per Edwardb's instructions and got my drive line angle dialed in via the tremec app and installed my metco drive shaft hoop. Will be able to button up the steering and cooling system....... First start and then go-cart stage! As for the tremec app that was a pain. Took me a couple of days to get it right ( 3 shims from forte on my transmission and being very methodical and slow until it pulled into the angle that made the app happy ).

Pic for your time...... Swapped out the plastic 3 way blinker switch for a Ron Francis heavy duty brushed steel momentary blinker switch. I love the heavy feel of it when you engage the blinker and how it automatically shuts off.

I could never get repeatable measurements using my phone & the Tremec App. I had to use a digital angle finder (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WQLHG2G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) & plug the angles into the app by hand.

That is a good idea. It would was very frustrating trying to reproduce the angles consistently.

Sometimes the Low Tech approach works best so this is what I used.
You can find them at Amazon, ACE Hardware, Lowes, or Home Depot.

Yessir Steve! I've had one for a couple of decades and not once has it ever gone out of calibration...gravity don't change you know ;)

It's kind of like what Jacob the Amish IT guy says "Sometimes old ways are the best ways"
