oi Mates!

I work on a website that has a map address search feature for your country. If you were to want to search by province, would you use a "province code" like QLD or Queensland?

G'day Dave,

It is probably worth implementing it if not too much trouble. When I first began posting I used my sign off to indicate what state I was from. This resulted in me getting a handful of pm's from Australian builders, none of them were from South Australia. It is a real shame that we do not have more Factory Fives in Australia. It would be awesome to know how many cars were sent down under, but I guess we'll never know. My Roadster was the first in my state and to date is one of five? I have been told there might be a hot rod, but I doubt it, as a long established local hot rod business already have strong support here.

I think there are two main problems preventing a lot of sales of factory five cars here:
1. Poor exchange rate.
2. Large number of modifications required to get through the tough registration process.

We have had quite a number of kit car manufacturers over the years, most have gone out of business. It seems that the best way to make a small fortune in the industry is to start with a large fortune.

We don't use the term province, but instead, states and territories. As follows:
States:
QLD - Queensland
NSW - New South Wales
TAS - Tasmania
VIC - Victoria
SA - South Australia
WA - Western Australia
Territories:
NT - Northern Territory
ACT - Australian Capital Territory

Cheers, Nigel in South Oz.

Hi Nigel. My question wasn't about THIS site. My question was, if you were searching, would you be more likely to type QLD in the search box, or Queensland? Probably doesn't matter now, I'll probably be given direction to account for both...
