Has anyone installed a coyote with an automatic transmission in a MK4 ? what modifications where needed to allow it to fit?

I am sure it will fit with out too much modification. The one issue you may have is the pan interference with the transmission mount A-frame. I have a T-56 and had to cut some of the webbing out of the middle and weld back some support but just a little. You probably need to find the 4R70W measurements of the rear of the pan to the front of the bell housing and pan width. Then have someone with a coyote measure the distance from the bellhousing to the A-frame transmission arms. I think it can be done just may have to do a little modification.

The auto fits but need the a frame modified to work. Bigger issue is getting it to communicate with a coyote.
