I have confirmed with ET Mag that they have 17" Halibrand replica wheels with a custom backspace, the same as the bolt-on wheels +3/8", that accommodates the FFR IRS system used on the roadster, 289FIA/USRRC and Coupe.

Unfortunately 15" pin-drives cannot be built without looking too flat and funky, ET Mag said.

So unless I am missing something, you can now have a FFR with 17" pin-drive wheels and the IRS system.

This may be a worthy compromise for those who pine for 15" and don't want a solid axle car. Like yours truly.

Vintage wheel can do 17" pin drive with custom offsets also. They have been after me to do a set of pin drive length arms for the new IRS. I just don't know if there would be enough interest to justify the R&D cost when realistically it's will be around a $2000 kit.
