I have the complete kit with standard brake calipers in front and the 2015 IRS brakes in back. I would like to paint the calipers. Can anyone recommend a product that will hold up on the calipers? I will not be racing so the calipers should not get excessively hot. Thanks for your thoughts.

I used VHT caliper paint. also paint my block w/ their engine paint. we'll see if it holds up. I'm still in early driving phase w/ the body on, so less than 100miles so far.

like chewy said - VHT is great, you need a hi-temp paint for calipers

pick whatever color you like and finish it with hi-temp clear

There is NO paint that stands up to brake fluid

I used the POR-15 Caliper Paint. I think it turned out ok.

As stated above, keep the brake fluid off the painted surfaces. You will have the raw steel look soon after the paint bubbles off. I am speaking from experience with the VHT paint.

Brake fluid will remove most all paints if not cleaned up quickly. I have painted calipers for years with just Rustoleum rattle can paint and have never had it burn off from heat. Maybe if they see racing duty it would be a problem but under street use it has always held up.
