Is there any source for polished stainless quick jacks, comparable in price to **********? ($150). I’ve found chromed jacks, but they run $300. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough???

I am a few months from needing them but considering the horrendously long wait times with **********, if they are the best game out there, I might order now.... and maybe get them in six months.

Thanks

I agree stainless steel would be a good choice if you can get them.
Some other options:
You could use the steel ones and get them powder coated in almost any color you want.
If you have the steel ones, you could copy them with stainless 1/4" thick 4" x 4" angle for about $45 per ft (original ones are only about 3/16" thick).

Thanks. I’ve considered both... powdercoat original from the kit or make my own. I have the equipment to fabricate whatever, but this is one of those things that buying something mass produced seems to make more sense than making it. To make a set from stainless would be quite labor intensive with cutting, smoothing and polishing.

Based on the lack of responses, I assume ********** is the only game out there. That kinda sucks. I prefer to support vendors who strive for a bit higher level of service. Guess I’ll order now and hope I get them someday.

I opted for the quick jack delete. It's a much cleaner look in my opinion. Having said that, I also admire many of the classic builds that replicate the original cars that had them. It's a choice each builder will make.

Hmmm... didn’t think of that. Looking at your avatar, I like it a lot! I’ll have to research it.

Shell Valley sells chrome quick jacks. Since they are not actually used for jacking, the chrome would not be compromised, so that might be another choice for you.
Not cheap mind you..

A set of FFR ones listed here if you decide to powder coat them.

I found the shellvalley ones. Although I’m rethinking getting the jacks now, if I do get em, I may just gamble with ********** for half the price.
