I am running a Blueprint engine with one wire alternator. Can I have a charge indicator light? If so where do I connect. And is a resistor required with or without the light. Thanks.

Search "alternator" or "one wire" there are lots of threads that break it down

I have a one wire as well. I have these book marked for when I get to that point of my setup.

Do you really need one? The volt meter tells you if it is charging or not.

Here is a module that triggers at 11 volts if you want a light on a single wire.

This. Volt meter gauge on any 12v wire.

Yep have to agree with Avalanche, light is not needed with voltmeter.

Thanks. I’ll eliminate it.

I ended up buying an rpm activated switch and wired it to the amber light as a shift indicator. It actually works great for just a few bucks. The switch is velcroed behind the dash near the edge so I can adjust it easily if desired.
