Can anyone tell me if the new Gen II kits come with a clutch slave cylinder that has a plastic cap on the end of the push rod? It would be the mating surface between the slave push rod and the throwout fork. My slave does, and it's splitting. I have a performance clutch.

Ron, mine is doing the same. Can the plastic cap be replaced or just removed?

Hi Jim,
You can pull the pin out of the slave unit. I'm thinking about making an all metal one.
I did a quick check from Pellican Porsche Parts and I think the new ones are steel. I need to get a part number for the newer one. I'll let you know. Just checking with the newer kits to see if in fact they are steel. TTYS Ron
