What are the differences? (weight, etc) Why would I want to buy aftermarket over the included one? My kit should arrive next week and I'm trying to plan ahead if there is something in the kit that I may want to have replaced. Thanks for any tips as this is my 1st FFR car. John

I ordered the Boyd's tank without even seeing the supplied version. I am not comfortable with the sender fitting location, below the full fuel level. I think the geometry of the filler tube also needs to be changed for easier filling. So i figured it was easier to buy a new tank rather than spend all the time and effort to modify the supplied tank. Jay

the F5 tank is junk it 1st. does'nt fit in the mounts it 2nd. does'nt fill with fuel right because of the way the neck is welded on 3rd. the trunk hinges hit it when the lid closed 4th. there is problems with the seals for the sending unit leaking 5th. i have also heard that there are problems with the vent but im not for sure on that but most of all it looks like a homemade pice of chinese junk it does'nt belong in a 20k car thats for sure

For all the reasons above. I built a tank 16 by 37 thats comes back into the trunk enough to remove the fuel pump. My filler is in the middle deck behind the top. greg
