For Sale – 2018 FF 818 Street Roadster
This car was titled 06/11/18 and since then drove an enjoyable 5,000 miles. VIN #MVIN368840IND. I have recently retired and downsizing so my wife and I can focus more on travel.
Description:
Factory Powder coated frame
2003 WRX 2.0L Turbo donor with 160,000 mi. Zero timed engine including new short block / turbo. Rebuilt by a master Subaru mechanic, who does engine rebuilds on the side.
Engine was built to factory specs so about 8 lb / hp. Car performs very well at this level and I wanted to maximize reliability.
For those interested in the Track, this car was built very light. I auto crossed it only once. No track time.
Aluminum wheels purchased from Factory Five
Dunlop Star Spec II tires
BiMarco racing seats out of Poland
Simple, clean Muffler and Exhaust design
Custom twin fan cooling for the intercooler
Fans can be off, on, or activated at 3 psi boost.
Corvette cyber gray paint scheme applied by a paint professional
Have had no issues, no leaks, car runs great!
This car has reasonably good fit and finish but is not a show car. I have previous experience with aircraft building so sheet metal work is of excellent quality. Paint has held up well with the exception of just forward of the rear wheels. Had to touch that area up due to pebbles thrown up by the sticky tires. I purchase fender guards but didn’t like the way it detracted from the looks so left them off!
See Drivers perception article: 818S Complete - Driver's Perception after 2000 miles (thefactoryfiveforum.com)
Selling price is $19,950. I have invested roughly $24,000.
Thanks for looking!
