Hey everyone,
Unfortunately i lost interest in building my 818c, at this point its just taking up space and i rather have the free space. It currently has the suspension installed and some of the cabin plates. It’s capable of being rolled onto a trailer. Everything from the factory five kit is here along with extra parts that I sourced. You will not have to find a donor car, just some parts here and there, rebuild the motor and transmission, and obviously finish assembling the car.
I have a lot of the components needed to build the car, which are:
-ej257-was told the engine ran low on oil, but it turned over. Also have the oem turbo
-wrx 5 speed transmission-needs 3rd gear/synchro from what i was told
-sti brembos(powder coated shocker yellow). Comes with brand new pads, brembo rebuild kit and ss brake lines, rotors
-sti aluminum suspension components
-factory five wheels for the 818c(rotas)
-all of the components from factory five that they provide for the kit(the only option i purchased was to powdercoat the chassis gloss black)
-ive powdercoated a lot of the additional metal parts from factory five that are just bare steel
This is the perfect opportunity to start from scratch with the motor and transmission. They are usually fairly expensive used but in this case you can just build them correctly and how you would like instead of taking a gamble on a used motor/trans.
-the following parts came from a 2005 impreza rs:
-cluster, ecu, chassis and engine harness, rs transmission, steering rack(currently torn apart to convert to manual), seat belts, steering column, etc-most of the smaller parts that are needed for the build come from this.
-what you will need to buy:
-Seats
-motor/transmission mounts
-engine ecu and engine harness for the sti motor
-clutch, pressure plate, flywheel
-rebuild the motor, steering rack, and transmission
I would like to get what i paid for the kit, $13,000. So the buyer wouldnt have to spend the time sourcing a lot of the parts, as well as you arent have to spend a lot of extra money for parts. The car is located in Charleston, Sc. Feel free to ask for any additional pictures or information.
