Lots of posts about this, but not sure I am following. The wiring diagrams show 5 wires connected to the plug on the motor. Brown, green, purple, yellow and white. There are 5 spades on the female side. One is ground and 2 are doubled, so ok. But on the other side there are only 3 spades. So it looks like 2 are dead end. Am I missing something? Please see attached.

The two you do not see are an internal switch for the park function.
This is a wiring diagram I found a while back. My setup is with a rotary switch so I required two relays.

Not the greatest photo but you can just about make out the park switch. It is actuated in the motor housing by a bump on the side of the cable drive wheel.
